Welcome to the POSEIT Training Site
This site's primary purpose is to support Internet-based certification training for Texas
law enforcement officers and TCLEOSE certified individuals. However, all are welcome to use
the resources provided here.
In order to better serve you, please contact
Poseit Support
with any questions or suggestions concerning this site.
You must provide your TCLEOSE PID number and date of birth during registration to receive TCLEOSE continuing education credit
for completed coursework. All Texas peace officers, jailers, and telecomunicators have a TCLEOSE PID number. Contact
TCLEOSE at (512)936-7700 if: (1) you do not know your TCLEOSE PID number, or (2) it does not show up in the "Info" section
of your home page.
Your course may take as long as two weeks to upload to your primary records at TCLEOSE. We are working hard on the problem and ask that you do not call about this problem unless you are reestablishing your license, completing advanced certification, or require the training posted to be employed.
This site has been made possible by a grant from the Governor's office, and the
cooperation of many criminal justice professionals and scholars. We are committed
to assisting officers in becoming all that they can be, which in turn, will provide
the people of Texas the quality of service and protection that they deserve.
Others affiliated with law enforcement training, education, or practice may register
also, although TCLEOSE credit will not be available. Guest information will be maintained as a courtesy
for those who wish to complete training material over time. Guest information will not be shared or distributed.
Courses completed on the site are only available for TCLEOSE credit once within
a training unit. Courses attempted or completed on this site through the use of
deceptive means or actions will result in disciplinary action on the part of the
Commission against your license.
Additionally, courses on this site are to completed only by the officer receiving
credit for the completion of that course
